Forest City Rats is a home-based rattery located in London, Ontario.

Hi, I’m Haley - a lifelong animal lover with a career in veterinary medicine (non-clinical roles), a home full of pets, and a special place in my heart for rats. I work remotely, which gives me the time and flexibility to dedicate daily care and attention to my rattery.

Together with my partner Brian, we operate Forest City Rats. Brian is an Animal Technician at Western University, and plays an important role in the operations of the rattery, assisting with husbandry, enrichment, and socialization.

 

What began as a passion for animals has grown into a mission: to provide London and surrounding area with ease of access to healthy, friendly, and social pet rats!

At Forest City Rats, our focus is on ethical, responsible breeding. Each rat is raised in a clean, enriching environment with plenty of space, daily handling, and lots of love. They’re not just pets; they’re part of the family until they become part of yours.

We selectively breed for strong health, sound temperament, and excellent socialization, ensuring every rat is confident, curious, and ready to be a loving companion. We believe rats deserve more than tiny cages and minimal interaction, they thrive with attention, enrichment, and connection.
