We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to find a new home for your pet. Our Second Chance Program is designed to make this process as supportive and stress-free as possible. We work to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, loving environment. While we require certain information to help us care for the animals, we approach every surrender with compassion and without judgment.

We respect your privacy. Any information provided in this form will remain confidential. However, please note that we are obligated to report any signs of neglect, abuse, or unsafe conditions affecting the animals to the appropriate local authorities.

Intake is based on our current capacity and resources. Submitting this form does not guarantee acceptance, but we will carefully review your request and contact you either way with next steps.

Although not required, we do recommend reaching out to your breeder first. They may be willing to and interested in assisting prior to them being surrendered to the Second Chance Program at FCR.

To support a smooth transition, we require the pet’s cage or enclosure. Any additional supplies (bedding, food, treats, etc.) are greatly appreciated but not required.
