This program supports rats as well as other small animals. No matter the circumstance, this is a judgment-free space. Life happens, and we’re here to help where we can.

To keep things simple and approachable, we don’t require a lengthy application to surrender a pet. The surrender form is designed to give us a clear understanding of your pet’s needs, history, and care so we can support them appropriately and find the best possible home.

Animals in this program are not bred or sold by Forest City Rats. All incoming animals go through a structured intake process, including quarantine and health assessment, before being considered for adoption.

We’ve created this program because we believe in kindness, responsible care, and doing right by the animals, even when circumstances change.

 

For those purchasing from the rattery or with pets visiting for boarding, please be assured that all incoming animals are kept completely separate and follow strict quarantine and biosecurity protocols. The health and safety of our resident pets remains a top priority.
